Role Purpose:

The F&B Waiter is responsible for creating a positive and everlasting impression for all guests.

The waiter is responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, and serving food and beverages to the guests. They play a key role in the overall F&B experience along the guest journey to/from the island.

Key Accountabilities & Activities:

  • Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, making them feel comfortable and valued.
  • Accommodate guests according to their needs, ensuring guests have a seamless journey and pleasant experience.
  • Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies)
  • Capable to provide information about facilities, services, and amenities available in the venues if guest ask.
  • Coordinate with other stakeholders and team members to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Capable of managing multiple inquiries simultaneously with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Prepare tables by setting up linens, chinaware, and glassware, offer menu recommendations upon request and Serve food and drink orders.
  • Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any issue.
  • Carry plates, glassware, and flatware to kitchen for cleaning.
    Assist guests to seating areas, take or prepare food and drink orders, clear and set tables, and serve food and beverages (where applicable) and etc.

    Job Requirements

    Background, Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate in German (mandatory), and other languages (preferred)Excellent problem-solving and multi-tasking skills, with a principled approach to understanding problems and opportunities to inform decision-making.
  • Track record of successful guest hospitality service
  • Maintain a working knowledge in the area of guest accessibility (ADA)Consistent, punctual, and regular attendance as a key member of the Guest Relations team, with the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs (Excel, Word, Outlook) and computer literacy
  • Strong sense of responsibility and professional presentation.
    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with hospitality industry standard
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

High School Diploma: hospitality certification is a plus (Graduate form DEUTCHE HOTELSCHLE)
Over 5+ years of experience within a major hotel group/hotel management company in the capacity of Guest Services Customer Service, or Fine Dining,
